Teaching Elementary Piano 2025-2026 Sessions Instalment

Discover how to instill a lifelong love of music in your elementary-level piano students. 

 

Mandatory Age Requirement: 16+

Prerequisites: None (though RCM Level 8 piano or equivalent is strongly recommended)

 

To be eligible for the Teaching Elementary Piano Self-Guided course, registrants must meet the following requirements:

• Completed ARCT diploma OR undergraduate or graduate music degree OR current MTNA National Certification (NCTM)
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience

Applicants who do not meet these requirements should register for the Elementary Piano Guided course, which provides weekly check-ins with a facilitator, and submission and feedback on assignments at the end of each unit.

 

Session Options:

 

FALL 2025 (Guided) – Sept 17 – Nov 26, 2025 (enrollment deadline:  Wed. Sept 10, 2025 at midnight Pacific)

 

WINTER 2026 (Guided) – Jan 28 – April 8, 2026 (enrollment deadline:  Wed. Jan 21, 2026 at midnight Pacific)

 

SUMMER 2026 (Guided) – June 3 – Aug 12, 2026 (enrollment deadline:  May 27, 2026 at midnight Pacific)

 

SELF-GUIDED – ongoing
